Onga Leisuretime and Pantera pool pump range
By far two of the most popular ranges of pool pumps in Australia are the Onga Leisuretime (LTP) and Pantera (PPP) series. They are both a tried and test design with a simple fan cooled motor, robust internals and easy to repair components, designed to keep your pool up and running all through the hot Aussie summer. They come in a range of nominal flow rates from 100L/min up to 300L/min at 100kpa pressure, which covers the size range for the majority of domestic sized swimming pools. All these pumps are manual control pumps as they are suited for circulation, they can be controlled automatically by using an electronic filter or chlorinator timer.
All models within each range have the same dimensions for easy change out. The main difference is the LTP has a fiber reinforced polypropylene housing and ABS internals whereas the Pantera has all fiber reinforced ABS housing and internals making it super resistant to high chlorine environments. The LTP 550 and 750 has a 1/2″ shaft with the LTP1100 and the PPP 550, 750 and 1100 all having 3/4″ shafts. We stock mechanical seals, bearings, O-rings and capacitors for all models.
