Shipping Policy

At Rural Pumps, we aim to deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. This policy outlines our shipping and delivery terms for customers across Australia.

1. Dispatch & Handling Times

1.1 Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
1.2 Custom or made-to-order items may take longer; we will contact you if any delays occur.

2. Shipping Methods

2.1 All orders are shipped via Australia Post.
2.2 At checkout, customers can choose between Standard Post and Express Post.

3. Shipping Costs

3.1 Free standard shipping is available for all orders over $150 (excluding bulky items).
3.2 Orders under $150 will have shipping calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and location.
3.3 Express Post is available at an additional charge, regardless of order value.

4. Bulky or Heavy Items

4.1 Some large or heavy items may incur an additional freight surcharge, even if the order total exceeds $150.
4.2 Products subject to bulky freight conditions will be clearly noted on the product page.
4.3 If additional shipping costs apply, we will contact you prior to dispatch for approval.

5. Local Pickup

5.1 Customers may choose local pickup from our Bunbury location by selecting "Local Pickup" at checkout.
5.2 You will be notified when your order is ready for collection. Pickup is available during business hours by appointment.

6. Delivery Timeframes

6.1 Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

  • Standard Post: 2–8 business days

  • Express Post: 1–4 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on your location and Australia Post’s network. Delays may occur during peak periods or due to unforeseen events.

7. Tracking & Delivery

7.1 You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.
7.2 Orders may require a signature on delivery unless you select "Authority to Leave" (ATL) at checkout.
7.3 If no one is available to receive the parcel and no ATL is provided, Australia Post may leave a collection card for pickup at your local post office.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

8.1 Please inspect your items upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours if your order is damaged or items are missing.
8.2 If your order is lost in transit, we will assist in lodging an investigation with Australia Post.

9. International Shipping

We currently only ship within Australia. For international enquiries, please contact us directly.
