SHIPPING POLICY
1. Shipping Methods and Costs
1.1 We offer the following shipping options for orders within Australia:
- Standard Delivery: 5-10 business days (metro areas), 7-14 business days (regional/remote areas)
- Express Delivery: 2-5 business days (metro areas), 3-7 business days (regional areas)
1.2 Free Delivery: Orders over $150 (excluding GST) qualify for free standard delivery Australia-wide, as advertised on our website.
1.3 Shipping costs for orders under $150 or for express delivery will be calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
1.4 All delivery timeframes are estimates only and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Rural Pumps is not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs, or events beyond our control.
2. Processing Time
2.1 Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment being received and cleared.
2.2 Made to Order Products: Products not normally stocked may take longer to process. Estimated dispatch times for Made to Order Products will be communicated at the time of quotation or order confirmation.
2.3 Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer at checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct.
3.2 Signature Required: Some items may require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, the courier may leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection.
3.3 Authority to Leave: Customers may authorize the courier to leave goods unattended at the delivery address. By providing such authorization, the customer accepts all risk and responsibility for the goods once delivered.
3.4 Rural Pumps is not responsible for goods stolen or damaged after delivery, or for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer.
4. Delivery Areas
4.1 We deliver to all Australian states and territories, including metro, regional, and remote areas.
4.2 Additional freight charges or extended delivery times may apply to remote locations. Customers will be notified of any additional costs prior to dispatch.
4.3 We do not currently offer international shipping.
5. Tracking
5.1 Where available, tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.
5.2 Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking information and contact the courier directly if delivery issues arise.
6. Damaged or Lost Goods in Transit
6.1 Inspection on Delivery: Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery. Any damage or shortage must be noted on the delivery docket and reported to Rural Pumps within 48 hours of receipt.
6.2 Claims: Rural Pumps will work with the courier to resolve claims for damaged or lost goods. Customers may be required to provide photographs or other evidence to support a claim.
6.3 Rural Pumps is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by the courier service, but will assist customers in lodging claims where appropriate.
7. Undeliverable Orders
7.1 If goods cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect from a depot, return freight charges and any restocking fees may apply before a refund or redelivery is processed.
8. Changes to Shipping Policy
8.1 Rural Pumps reserves the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
