Equivalent to Davey 32996, heavy duty pump mechanical seal Type 3 – UNITEN / SIMPLEX / DIN to suit 16mm shaft with Viton Rubber seals and Silicone Carbide faces. This is for salt water or abrasive fluids and sand where a carbon ceramic seal will quickly wear. Also Viton rubber is used where there is oil or other solvents in the water as these damage nitrile rubber.
